DISCLAIMER: There’s something here for everyone, but not everything is for everyone. It is wise to know which applies to you. Even though everyone can learn a thing or two.
The major design of the Earth was fleshed out before the first human being was made. We are talking, light, day, night, sun, moon, stars, ocean, separated from dry ground, animals, plants, flowers etc.
Then Man was made. The first human being. He came in and named the animals, giving names to all that God had made. He was so aligned with the spirit of God that when he opened his mouth and named anything, it was correct. He had a relationship with God, he had work, and he had a purpose. He had the most beautiful home God had made, and he took care of it to the satisfaction of His creator. And God thought, all of it was good.
Until one day, God came around and thought, Hmmm, something isn’t right. The man is indeed busy with the work I’ve given him. He chats with me when I come around. He even plays with the animals, but something isn’t just right.
He named the animals and has a great camaraderie with them, but they’re not aligned. He is not, and can never be, with one of them, or become one with them. They aren’t SUITABLE for him. And the work is expanding because each animal came with its opposite counterpart. He is ALONE. And that is not GOOD. He needs a HELP MEET.
And Bam! God made Woman.
You see the recurring words before He made woman? Everything was good at some point but because of her absence, God said, no that’s not good.
Man had work, was busy with a mission, and had God as a friend. GOD! But God didn’t find Himself and all of creation suitable for man; He needed someone else who was suitable. Someone He called a Helpmeet. Some might say helper. All the same.
You know what is interesting?
There’s another being, an entity that God called a helper, with the same meaning of what the helper or help meet He used for the woman. That is the HOLY SPIRIT.
If you’re not a Christian, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God; the Holy Spirit is God. God showed us with Himself how His Headship, His Spirit, and His Body work together. His body is what you might know as Jesus Christ. His Administrative or Executive arm is on the throne at all times. His Spirit is the promise He gave to His believers that will be sent after Jesus resurrected and ascended to heaven.
Believers of Jesus Christ were promised a helper, a comforter, an intercessor, a standby, etc. All in the person of the Holy Spirit. And they got that promise.
Can you imagine that? God made a woman and called her a help meet. A position that is similar to that of the Spirit of God. Oh, how I love being a woman!
Why then do you think God made her last?
- She was created last to meet man with the help only she can provide for the propagation of the mission God has given him. The helper, who is the woman, comes to join a mission, support it, and help the visionary reach said goal. She comes with the innate ability to multiply. There’s a line in the New Testament that says, one shall chase a thousand, two shall chase ten thousand. The woman is the passport to being and doing More. God creates, the man does the actual work to take God’s creation and grow it, and the woman comes around to help him so he can continue to do the work he was instructed to do. Can he do it without her? Yes, but he will be better at it with her there. She was made for the man with the vision. The man was made for the vision.
Multiply here isn’t just about children. She’s here to multiply him. His Strength, His ideas, His imagination, and His Heart. She can also multiply his DNA, so one day, his work doesn’t die with him. Oh goodness, what a joy. How beautiful.
It also shows God’s intentionality with continuity. God doesn’t waste anything, and nothing dies in his hands. The woman is the succession plan; she represents continuity, and she carries the legacy within her.
A man with a woman will never be forgotten. On his own, he might be. The earth will swallow him, life will move on, posterity will forget, but with the presence of a woman, he’ll always live.
Historically, when you want to weaken a nation, you kill all the men, including male children. And what do the men do when they know there’s a war upon them? They keep their women and children safe first and go off to war without any care in the world of dying because their women alive means their children are safe and will be taught by their mothers about their father and their people. And you don’t want to fight a woman over her child. Hell hath no fury.
Also, remember we said the Holy Spirit is the only one given the job of a helper, just like the woman? In Christianity, we know that the Holy Spirit doesn’t do everything for you. In fact, He doesn’t even start. If you start, e.g., prayer, He’d help you.
It’s quite interesting and makes one wonder if maybe women have forgotten how to be women. I actually believe women weren’t made to work, maybe – the type of work we call work today.
Also, given this order, you weren’t supposed to build a man. You are to help him when he has something for you to help with. A man without a mission shouldn’t be around your orbit unless he’s your son, your student or staff. You are only allowed and permitted to be with a man already on mission.
2. She serves as a reminder to him of who he is
I have a theory that the first human creation – man, was busy with his work, but sometimes, lays by the lake with his dog or one of the lions wasting time. When God is not there to talk to him, He does so little, eats, sleeps, and plays with the animals. And God saw there wouldn’t be a future Eden with the way he’s going, so he made a woman. What better way to motivate a man than with a woman? If not the woman he is with, then the woman he wishes to get.
God trusts the man with doing the work to get the mission fulfilled. He trusts the woman to make sure it gets done excellently. The man has the strength to take us to the finish line. The woman is the voice in his ear to whisper, ‘keep going’ or ‘you’re the man for this’. The woman will remind him of the mission if he forgets or gets distracted because of the vicissitudes of life, sometimes just by being. One look at her, he gets off his ass and wants to conquer the world. He’s the force, she’s the inspiration. He’s the strength, she’s the wisdom, the voice of reason. She’s God’s reminder.
3. She makes it all good. Everything God made was good until it wasn’t. Then He made woman, and He said, yeah, it is all good now.
I believe women were made to come into a room, a city, a town, a company, an institution, and make things better. Just by our presence, something should shift just because we were there. It could simply be perspectives and mindsets. It could be hope ignited.
In fact, the first man never spoke; we heard that he spoke in the third person. Then we heard him speak when he saw the woman presented to him. She brought it out of him. And all he said was like prophecies. I believe a woman can activate gifts already inside of you.
And like it or not, one of the ways women do this is through beauty. There’s a buzz going on, pretty privilege, that beauty is currency. Agree or not, it’s a fact. There’s something silly about a man focused on his looks – that doesn’t mean he should be shabby. And there’s something sad about a woman that don’t care about her looks – that doesn’t mean you should be vain. But it shows that when we misplace priorities, something is off. Don’t use your beauty as a weapon; use it as wisdom. One should gaze at you and feel good, be inspired and love life again. Beauty just creates a hospitable and warm presence/ambience. Beauty inspires joy and creativity.
A woman who understands beauty knows that it’s not just about physical beauty. There’s a beauty that’s described by the ancients as a kind that brings tears to your eyes and brings you to your knees. A beauty that can launch a thousand ships like Helen of Troy. That beauty isn’t about the right statistics; it’s a presence and an essence. There’s a beautiful presence. There’s a beautiful spirit. There’s a beautiful heart, soul and mind. If your beauty is just about your body, you have the least type of beauty. Be a beautiful person in, out and around you.

Another way to be a woman that makes it all good is to steward the wisdom in you. This helps you see angles, perspectives and ideas not easily seen, so you can contribute wherever you are, a quota that makes everything better
To be able to do these, it means that there’s a kind of man a woman was created for, not all men. So, I will write next on that type of man and the men to never entertain, so you can be your best for the best man God has for you.
